Meet The Team - Regional Manager, Teri Lloyd

We want you to get to know our internal support staff so we recently spoke to our Regional Manager for England and wanted to share a bit about Teri and her role within the company.

Do you have a nickname in the office?

Not anymore, when I was in school and working abroad everyone used to call me shorti

Tea or Coffee?

Tea, like a strong builders tea.

Do you have any unusual skills/Party tricks?

No

What’s your favourite Snack?

Biscuits, either rich tea (one dips in our house) or chocolate digestives

Dogs or Cats?

That’s hard! I can’t choose! Can I pick both?

What was your favourite place you’ve visited?

Thinking I worked in Rhodes and whilst there I lived in Lindos in St Pauls Bay. Such a stunning place to have days off. My paradise in the UK though, is Shell Island in Wales.

When did your H1 Journey begin?

I started in March 2021

What's your typical day like?

A typical day is busy! Double-checking the emails from the night before and the handover, then I start looking at shifts that have come in and who is available for what areas. I speak to the candidates and clients throughout the day too.

You're the Regional Manager for England, why is it so important to H1 Healthcare?

I’d say it is important to H1 as there wasn’t an England desk as such before I started, being in England and not based in Scotland meant I started with my own area and we are slowly expanding, I think it has been a fab move for H1 to venture out into England.

What’s the best part of your day?

When we fill the shifts extremely quickly, or we branch out into a new client/area for the first time (I like to do my happy dance round my chair 😊 )

What’s the worst?

Cancellations or not being quick enough for a client and they have filled the vacancy elsewhere

What makes you proud to work at H1 Healthcare?

My team. We all have bad days, but when we do they are always on the other end of the phone or on teams, there to boost me up.

If you had to summarise H1 Healthcare in 3 words what would they be?

Great – to work for/with

Family – I don’t think I have worked with a group of people that have gelled together so quickly

Caring – always there to support and listen when/if needed
