What's your typical day like?*
Start with correspondence to emails, check for upcoming training booked, liase to trainers and clients. Invoices, standardization for courses, deliver training to nurses/carers, manage internal training and support with any other training needs.
You're the Training Co-Ordinator, why is it so important to H1/Homecare Scotland?
Training supports the skills development for new recruits and supports the upskilling of our current staff. Providing excellent standards of training sets the bar of the expected care delivery to those within our care thus promoting quality of care.
What’s the best part of your day?
The best part of my day is having my first cup of coffee in the morning and looking at what I have planned to do and feeling organised.
What’s the worst?
I work part time Monday – Thursday. The worst part of my day is a Monday morning catching up with emails from the previous Friday.
What makes you proud to work at H1/Homecare Scotland?
This is the first job role I have felt happy, content and truly welcomed. I feel respected valued and most of all that I can contribute with my knowledge and skills. This makes me feel that I am truly making a difference.
