A message from Pam
H1 Healthcare Founder and Co-CEO
H1 Healthcare was founded as a family business in 2002. As a nurse with over 20 years experience, a Mother of six, and former care home operator, I started a small care agency in rural Aberdeenshire to provide work for the care staff I knew and worked with already.
The business has grown to be one of the largest nursing and care staffing businesses in the UK and also provides learning technology and training services. We're still a family business, and I'm so proud of the team who make up our extended H1 family - our care and nursing heroes and our amazing recruitment and office-based teams.

Aims and Objectives
H1 Healthcare’s strategic direction and operational management are the responsibility of our very experienced CEO Sam Easen, who alongside our Head of Finance Alan MacKenzie, leads a senior team of skilled line managers, each of whom bring their individual attributes that combine to provide a coherent response to our clients’ requirements. The overall aim of the business is to provide quality staff as a temporary solution to clients who are short staffed. We aim to provide a reasonably priced service that delivers well trained staff to clients across the country. Our aim is to becoming Scotland's top nursing agency with our core values at the heart of everything we do.
Founded by Registered Nurse Pam Easen in Banchory in rural Aberdeenshire almost 20 years ago, H1 Healthcare has developed from a small home business to a group that employs around 50 office-based staff and 600+ agency healthcare staff. Operating across Scotland the business has grown considerably whilst still retaining and building upon the values Pam professed at the outset.
We continue to successfully increase our market share in the areas in which we operate, particularly those which have historically been dominated by larger companies because we have been successful in demonstrating our ability to provide quality staffing solutions at competitive rates.
